Albert Thurston Accessories

Albert Thurston first sold his braces and suspenders in 1820 from 27 Panton Street, Haymarket, London. In Victorian Britain of 1851 the Great Exhibition was held in Hyde Park. Albert Thurston received an Honourable Mention for the excellent standard of their gent's accessories. Thus, the reputation of Albert Thurston was cemented. Their trouser braces and suspenders were to be worn around the world by kings, princes, presidents and businessmen for centuries to follow.

At the outbreak of the second world war the actor Sir Ralph Richardson famously stated that he was going straight to his tailor on Savile Row to purchase half a dozen Thurston braces in case of short supply. Now in the twenty first century Thurston's accessories are as stylish as ever. A broad white pair of button-on braces were last seen worn on the big screen by Daniel Craig as James Bond in Casino Royale.
